Gerald Eugene Lavalleur

Gerald Eugene Lavalleur, Tulsa resident, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning May 1, 2018, with his family by his side, at the age of 65 years.

He was born on October 26, 1952 in Springfield, IL to his parents, Eugene Lavalleur and Clara (Books) Lavalleur.

Jerry married the love of his life, Deborah Desmul on May 27, 1973. This month, they would have celebrated 45 years of marriage.

Jerry loved the Lord and was a believer in Jesus Christ. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of 19 at Young Life Camp. Jerry enjoyed remodeling his home, gardening, and researching on the computer. He loved to travel and hike. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed playing with his dog, Grace. He loved helping others with their own home projects and giving of himself. While living in Colorado, he climbed Pikes Peak 14 times.

Jerry owned a small business, Clark Service Company. He also enjoyed working as an IT technician.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Lavalleur and Clara Lavalleur.

Jerry leaves many loving memories with his family, wife, Deborah; daughter, Rebekah Hunsicker and husband Jason; son, Samuel Lavalleur and wife Alanda; and daughter, Maggie Allen and husband Aaron; grandchildren, Lilly, Audrey, Elijah, Lucas, Linlee, and Quinn; twin brother, Gary Lavalleur and wife Nancy, and sister, Sandy Lavalleur and Steve Piety; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Believers Church, 4705 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
