Gerald (Jerry) Albert Tomasko age 78 passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jerry was born on July 7, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Earl and Ethel (Elliott) Tomasko. He graduated in 1955 from Austin High School. When he was sixteen years old he met the love of his life and married, Dolores Sylvia Olander. He worked as a Vice President of Marketing for Mapco for fifteen years and for Citgo for twenty-three years. Some of Jerry's hobbies were attending TU games, traveling, playing golf, taking walks and he loved to swim. He was active with Habitat for Humanity and stayed in touch with his "Citgo" friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, for being a caring and loving Dad, husband and grandpa. Jerry loved his church and was a member of Fellowship Lutheran Church.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ethel Tomasko, his daughter, Kristen Tomasko Frampton and his brother, William Tomasko.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Doe) of Tulsa, his son, Steven Tomasko of Lowell, Arkansas, his sister, Norma Coomans (Russell) of Chicago, Illinois, his loving grandchildren, Elyse Curtis, Melissa Tomasko, Hailey Frampton, Quint Frampton, other relatives and a host of friends and acquaintances.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Fellowship Lutheran Church, 6727 S. Sheridan Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma (918 492-3698). Pastor Alan Fox will officiate.
