Georgia P. White

Georgia Pearl White, a resident of Henryetta, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born September 4, 1922 to Opie and Gertrude (Moody) Harper in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Henryetta. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Fred C. White in 2006; daughter, Danita Teale; son, Richard White and daughter, Audrey Donathan. Survivors include her son, Fred A. White and wife, Barbara of Tecumseh; eight grandchildren, Katherine Rowe of Dallas, TX, Mary Gauss of Shawnee, William Teale IV of Little Rock, AR, Martha Richerson of Muskogee, Rachel Meele of Glenpool, Fred White, Jr. of Henryetta, Aaron White of Alabama and Megan White of Henryetta and twelve great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson with Kevin Rayner officiating. Services are under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
