After a few years, she moved to San Francisco, CA. It was there that she met and married Lenzie Bailey, Jr. After a few years they had a son, Kendric Ollie who was named after her mother.
Georgia returned to Oklahoma a few years later, and remained there the rest of her life.
After a stint at St. Francis Hospital, she found work at Tulsa Junior College. She remained at TJC after it transitioned into Tulsa Community College. She built many friendships that she maintained with faculty, staff, and students. After many years, she retired from TCC and took time to enjoy traveling and seeing family.
Following retirement, she housed her mother Ollie through her final years.
