George Henry Autaubo

March 3, 1955 — December 14, 2013

George Henry Autaubo, 58, a longtime resident of Okmulgee, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the privacy of his home. He was born March 3, 1955 to George Clay Autaubo and Rebecca (Simmers) Autaubo in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, George Clay Autaubo; nephew, Christopher Clay Chisholm and grandmother, Sarah Simmers. Survivors include four children, Stephanie Autaubo and husband, Jay Schippers of Fort Collins, Colorado, Matthew Autaubo of Okmulgee, Sarah Autaubo-Bagby of Okmulgee and Jonathan Clay Autaubo of Okmulgee; mother, Rebecca Autaubo of Okmulgee; two brothers, Rodney Autaubo and wife, Gail and Timothy Autaubo and wife, Jennifer; three sisters, Linda Chisholm and husband, Frank, Adeline Sloma and husband, Jerry and Evelyn Pridgen and husband, Tim; thirteen grandchildren; aunt, Priscella Kahbeah; five nieces; six nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Wake Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee with Pastor Sammy Chupco, Mark Forde and Sonny Harjo officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Miller Cemetery under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home and Crematory in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Joshua Autaubo, Brandon Autaubo, Shawn Medlock, Jay Paul Schippers, III, Andrew Duclos, Isaac Duclos, Frank Chisholm, Jr. and Jay Schippers, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Sloma, Robert Kahbeah, Rick Powell, Frank Chisholm, Mike Simmers, Wendall Autaubo, Spark Autaubo and Randy Autaubo.
