George Feller

July 5, 1934 — February 21, 2016

George E. Feller of Tulsa, beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, February 21st, 2016. He was 81.

George was preceded in death by his father, John Feller of Los Angeles, CA; mother, Esther (Nelson) Underhill of Boston, MA; and brother, Donald Feller of Boston, MA. He is survived by his brother, John G. Feller of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Heike Feller; and 2 grandsons, Kendrick Feller and Griffin Spivy; and dear friend, Margret Feller, all of Tulsa, OK.

Born in Roxbury, Massachusetts July 5th, 1934, George attended Boston Latin School, Boston College, and Columbia University. He worked as a consultant for the Arthur Young Firm in New York City before transferring to Tulsa to become VP of Pepsico Transportation. Later he established and ran his own computer programming company, Minimax Systems, Inc., until he retired. After retirement he oversaw the community store, The Blue Jackalope, until its closure.

He was an amazing man who truly blossomed later in life by way of his community of friends who kept his days and nights filled with love and laughter. George never stopped learning and his fierce curiosity for all things inspired many.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 5th in the sanctuary of All Souls Unitarian Church, 2952 South Peoria Avenue, Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boston Latin School. https://6992.thankyou4caring.org/.
