George E. Grammer

George Earnest Grammer, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the age of 77. He was born July 14, 1935 to Everett and Opal Grammer in Morris, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Opal Grammer; grandson, Laramie Grammer; sister, Neeta Chastain and two brothers, Sonny Grammer and Gilbert Grammer. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Grammer of the home; five children, Steve Grammer and wife, Darlene of Mason, Liz Kelley of Okmulgee, Delores Stout of Owasso, Tammy Grammer of Okmulgee and George Churchill and Vicky of Okmulgee; two sisters, Nina James of Okmulgee and Linda Brumfield of Okmulgee; one brother, Donnie Grammer and wife, LaDonna of Preston; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
