Geneva Velma Clanton age 90 passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015 in Marietta, Georgia.
Geneva was born in Keota, Oklahoma on December 2, 1924 to Sherman Young and Nettie (Haire) Young.
She attended Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During the war she worked for Boeing on the B-17 airplanes. She married the love of her life, Thomas Andy Clanton and together they raised their family. Geneva was a devoted homemaker.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Thomas (July 2, 1980) and son, Greg.
Geneva is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Julie Peacock (Jerry), Christy Grant (David), Cindy Smith (Kelly), her son: Grady Clanton, her sister: Dee Hunt, her loving grandchildren: Jill, Jer, Candice, Haley, Erin, Ashley, Jordan, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
