Geneva Delores Morton

Geneva Delores Morton, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at the age of 72. She was born November 14, 1938 to William Monroe and Doris (Owen) Allen in Prescott, Arkansas. On November 22, 1956, she married Ray Morton. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Monroe and Doris Allen; grandson, Wesley Larney, brothers, Howard Allen and William Allen and sister, Allene Braley. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ray Morton of Henryetta; three children, Dennis Morton of Broken Arrow, Clay Morton and wife, Rhonda of Henryetta and Lisa Morton- Johnson and husband, Kevin of Okmulgee; Jana Martin, who was like a daughter to Geneva; one sister, Kathleen Allen of Arkansas; three brothers, Berlin Allen, Harlin Allen of Henryetta and Rayburn Allen of Claremore; seven grandchildren, Chris Morton, Cole Larney, Josh Morton, Amanda Morton, Adam Morton, Garret Morton and Bryan King and two great grandchildren, Maykala Morton and Emily Morton and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
