Gene Alan King

Gene Alan King age 67 passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Gene was born on November 6, 1941 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Uie Vick King and Naomi Rhoades. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1961. Gene served in the United States Army for six years. On June 12, 1965 Gene married Ramona Laverne Grisso. Gene liked to fix things including car engines and computers. Before retiring Gene worked for Braden Manufacturing as a sheer operator for thirty-five years. What Gene enjoyed most was spending time with his loving wife, Ramona.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents: Vick and Naomi King; his twin brother: Jerry King; his two brothers: Donnie King, Dennis King and most recently his loving wife: Ramona King who passed away April 14, 2009.
He is survived by his sons: Randal King of Austin, Texas; Brian King and his wife, Karey of Jenks, Oklahoma; his brothers: Jim King of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Richard King of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Ken King of Choctaw, Oklahoma; his two sisters: Elaine Caddella of Granbury, Texas and Kathy McKeaigg of Denver, Colorado along with his six grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Gary Volz will officiate.
