Gayle Wharton

Gayle Wharton of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away at her home Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the age of 76. She was born to parents Karl and Virginia Hudleson on October 5, 1944 in Cudahy, California.

She was known in the town of Okmulgee as "the paper lady" as she was a Tulsa World Paper carrier for 25 years. She loved her Whire Hair Fox Terriers and her Airedale Lotty. She also enjoyed working on the ranch and breeding cows with her husband Dave.

She is preceded in death by her parents Karl and Virginia Hudleson.

Those left to remember the life of Gayle include husband Dave Owens of the home, children, Gregory W. Hier, Tracey J. Williams, and Stefanie J. Owens as well as three grandchildren and six great grandchildren along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a children's hospital in her name.
