Gary Ward Cook, 63, of Sapulpa, OK, passed away early Sunday, September 3, 2017, at his residence with his loving wife by his side.

Gary was born in Bakersfield, CA on November 20, 1953, a son of the late Aileen Gertrude (Wennihan) and Rollin Ray Cook.

He married the love of his life, Betty (Hall) Cook. They were married on April 28, 1982, in Bakersfield, CA.


Gary was a talented musician, who loved to play the guitar. He played in numerous bands, including Quarterflash. Gary loved going to concerts; riding motorcycles; his dog, Zeke; spending time with family; working on cars with his boys; fishing; He was a jokester; loved making people laugh; spoiling his grandkids. He really enjoyed spending time with his "little buddy" grandson Rollin.


He worked as a Laborer throughout his lifetime.

Gary is survived by his loving family, wife, Betty; three sons Jason Ray Cook, Larry Jerome Cook, husband of Redona, Jerry James Cook, husband of Lindsey; a sister, Ellen Freundl, a step brother, Darryl Davidson, He is also survived by grandson, Rollin Ward Cook, and granddaughter, McKinley Raye Cook

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jolleen Cook; Brother Jim Davidson.
