The family moved to Muskogee when Gary was an infant. He was involved in the usual scouting and school band events. Gary liked variety and after ministering to several Christian Churches across Oklahoma branched into other vocations. He was an EMT Driver, A substitute teacher for Glenpool Schools. Always the salesman, he sold cars, paper products, pharmaceuticals and marketed for A Vow Hospice. Gary and Ann served many years with the Chaplaincy Corp of the Tulsa Police Department. For sixteen years Gary worked with the Schaudt Funeral Service and the last 2 1/2 years here in Okmulgee.
He is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Lila Volz, and niece Myria Price.
