Gary Don Hamby

Gary Don Hamby, retired teacher, coach, athletic director, principal, college dean, cattle and horse breeder and animal lover passed away December 9, 2015 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Gary was born March 13, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Donald Eugene Hamby and Geneva Francile (Stockton) Hamby. Gary graduated from Berryhill High School with the Class of 1967. Gary was drafted into the United States Army and served our country honorably during the Vietnam War. Gary married the love of his life and best friend Becky on January 18, 1980 in Tulsa. Gary was an active member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church for the past twenty five years.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Solace Church, 7314 W. 41st, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Tom McElroy and Reverend Jeff Jaynes will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
