Gary Dean Long

Gary Dean Long, age 80 of Tulsa, formerly of Yazoo City, Mississippi, passed away
Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mr. Long was born July 4, 1935 in Belzoni, Mississippi to J. D. and Edwinta Long. He
retired from Lazy L Escort Services and was a member of Berryhill Baptist
Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his son, Randy Long, his granddaughter, Jennifer and his sister, Judy Patterson.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Long Matthews (Joel) of Tucson, Arizonia, his son,
Larry Dean Long (Patty) of Pascagoula, Mississippi., several grandchildren, numerous
nieces, nephews, his brothers, Hugh Long (Merilyn), Raymond Long (Carolyn), Charles Long and brother in law, Glenn Patterson all of Yazoo City, MS.

Special thanks and deepest appreciation to Dee and Mike Morgan of Glenpool, Oklahoma for their love and devotion to our loved one during the time of his illness.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Berryhill Baptist Church, 6035 W. 40th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74107 (918 455-0923). Pallbearers will be Mike Morgan, Clint Morgan, Dale Merchant, Randy Moss, Wayne Davidson and Dawson O'Hara.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. March 3, 2016 at Fletcher’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Yazoo County, Mississippi. Serving as pallbearers at graveside services in Yazoo City will be Glenn Patterson, Dennis Moulder, Cliff Long, Scott Long, Thomas Gordon and Michael Melton.
