Gary Dale Prine Beloved and forever missed Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend passed away on January 8, 2020.
Gary was born on October 29, 1950 at the hospital in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Robert H. Prine and Dorthy Jean (Sadler) Prine. Gary grew up in Beggs, Okmulgee, and Tulsa. He was a graduate of Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1968 at the age of 17 years, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served 3 years with a tour in Vietnam in 1969. Gary was a Staff Sergeant E4 motor pool. After returning home from his military service due to an injury, he attended Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) in Tonkawa, Oklahoma where he graduated with an Associate Degree of Applied Science specializing in Agribusiness. He worked many years in the field of Natural Gas Refining. He started his career at Northern Natural Gas in Beaver, Oklahoma as a Refining Technician. Later he worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Tulsa Proquick Natural Gas Refining. During this time he re-injured his previous war injury which lead to his early retirement.
The later part of Gary's life was spent on his farm in Okmulgee with his Loving and Devoted wife Susan (Corn) Prine of 16 years. He had a lifetime interest and love of horses, dogs, animals, hunting, fishing and socializing with family and friends. He was a life long American Patriot and Honorable American Veteran. Gary had a heart to help and encourage other veterans.
Gary is survived by many family and friends and loved ones; Two children from a previous marriage to Beverly Prine : Daughter, Julie (Prine) Davis and spouse Tom Davis of Galena, Missouri. Son Robert Prine and spouse Christina Prine of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.Two children with Susan Prine: Son Jason Warren, Son Duane Warren spouse Raelene Warren from Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Nadia Dale Prine-Robson spouse Cameron Robson from Rogers, Arkansas. Noel Alexis Davis, Isaiah Davis, Wesley Warren, Nicole Warren, Allen Warren, Jacob Goad, Ethan McLane, Miya Warren, and Lucas Warren.
The family would also like to give a sincere and special thank you to Tommy and Laura Blankinship and Houston Blankinship, Bill and Betty Gunkel, Mike and Linda Sadler, Kelly and Lora Neisler, and Patsy Corn, Hershal and John McGuire, along with many other friends and family for bringing an abundance of love and joy to his life.
