Gage Logan Coltrain

Gage Logan Coltrain, 24 year old Sapulpa resident was surrounded by family as he passed away peacefully Friday evening, March 20, 2015 due to sarcoma.
Gage was born in Bedford, Texas on January 28, 1991. He graduated with Honors from Sapulpa High School. Gage continued his education at Northeastern State University receiving a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry and graduating Summa Cum Laude. Gage was currently pursuing his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Arkansas; he will be awarded his PhD posthumously.
He leaves many loving memories with his family; the love of his life, Leah Nevills; parents, Gary and Barbara Coltrain; sisters, Amanda Ryan, Amy Williams and husband, Walter, and Kendra Coltrain and fiancé, James Maddux; brothers, Nathaniel Ryan and wife, Sarah, Benjamin Ryan and wife, Kelly; paternal grandmother, Marie Coltrain; maternal grandparents, James and Darlene Hansen; nieces, Schyler and Sadie; nephews, Wyatt and Aaron; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members.
Gage was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Coltrain.
Memorials may be made in Gage’s name to St. Jude (stjude.org) or a cancer research organization of your choice. The family would like to express their appreciation to Grace Hospice for their compassion during his stay at home, and to all of Gage’s friends for their wonderful memories.
