Frederick Harold Miller

Frederick Harold Miller, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 17th at his residence in Tulsa. He was born on November 7, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Estella Beatrice (Hedrick) and Frederick Harold Miller, Sr. He graduated for the Ponca City Military Academy and joined the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.

Frederick retired from his many years of being a security guard, all over the Tulsa metro. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed going to the shooting range, often taking his daughter along. He was very passionate about Civil War history and reading books of similar topics. He was brilliant when playing strategic board games. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 577; and he attended many reunions of the Ponca City Military Academy. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estella Beatrice (Hedrick) and Frederick Harold Miller, Sr.; and brother, Gary Scott Miller.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Amy Michelle Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; cousin, Phyllis Damon and family of Texas, Paul Hedrick of Texas and Scott Hedrick of Texas, three beloved feline companions, Charlie, Jenny and Louie; and many friends.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, November 9, 2017, 11AM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel with inurnment at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Frederick Harold Miller to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 577, 1109 E 6th St, Tulsa, OK 74120. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service and Cremation Care Centers. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family, online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com.
