Fred Vernon Walker

Fred Vernon Walker, Jenks resident, passed away November 9, 2014 he was 82 years old.

Fred was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on June 30, 1932 to Rueben and Kizzy (Warren) Walker.
He married the love of his life, Mary Thomas. Fred had worked as a Shop foreman in a machine shop.

Fred was proceeded in death by his parents, Rueben and Kizzy; his lovely wife Mary, daughters, Linda Walker, Janet (Walker) Hyatt; son, Larry Walker, brothers, Earl and Junior Walker; sister, Marie Mayes.

He leaves many sweet memories with his family, sons; Mark S. Walker and his wife, Robin, of Tulsa, Phil Walker, of Sapulpa, Doug and his wife, Kim of Cushing, daughter, Debra Mefford of Tulsa, brother, Elvin Walker of Tulsa, half sister, Georgie Hutchinson of Shawnee; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Steve Yowell officiating. Interment will be 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Clarksville, AR.

Casketbearers are Phil Walker, Mark Walker, Doug Walker, Michael Walker, Joshua Barber, and Travis Bradley. Honorary Casketbearers are Elvin Walker, Donnie Woolland, Terry Bradley and Ralf Spreng.
