Fred Eugene Herndon

Fred E. Herndon was born November 16, 1956 in Wichita, KS to Edward and Delores (Ellis) Herndon. He married Ann-Frances on December 22, 1996 in Annapolis, MD. They moved to Tulsa together on July 3, 1997. Fred loved reading science fiction including authors Arthur C. Clarke, Robert McCammon, and Stephen King. He worked for many years as a master machinist. He was very reserved but very protective and passionate about the relationships with those he loved most. Fred is survived by his wife Ann-Frances of the home; brother Robert E. Herndon (Krissy Ashe) of Tulsa, OK; niece Jessica Groves (Blake) of Tulsa, OK; Stepchildren Randy Pennell, Kris Pennell (Andrea); grandchildren Aryssa, Adian, Taylor, and Caleb. sister Loretta Pinnell (Ralph), niece Tabitha Cooney (Jon) and niece Angela Daniel (Danny) plus 3 great nephews all of Texas. Ann's family: Jean and Neal Shaffery, Brenda and Tony Cressman, Bruce and Debbie Mahar, Karen Mahar- all in Maryland and Mike Mahar of Kentucky and Ron and Melissa Mahar of Texas plus numerous great nieces and nephews; Cousins Mitch and Rosie Simmons of Oklahoma. Private services are scheduled for family and those closest to Fred.
