Frank Paul Willett

January 22, 1972 — March 10, 2018

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Frank Paul Willett Jr. announces his passing in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 46 years of age.

Frank was born in Brawley, California on January 22, 1972 to Frank Willett Sr. and Alice Bowles (Reese). Frank spent the majority of his childhood growing up in Montclaire, California until 1987 when he moved to Morris, Oklahoma at the age of 15 where he attended Morris High School.

During his time at Morris High School he met a girl, Jennifer LeAnn Hall and the two of them hit it off. Jennifer’s parents were not having it because she was only 15 when they started dating so mom had to convince dad that it would be ok. The dating years went by and Frank moved to California to pursue his love for music and the rock and roll life. On his way to California he had experienced multiple car issues, breakdowns and having to have his sister come and get him; the trip was pretty much already doomed from the beginning. After 6 months of being there, he decided he could not live without Jennifer so he drove back down and this time there was no car issues to get his high school sweetheart back. Jennifer graduated in May of 1993 and the two of them got married on July 31, 1993 and have spent 25 years of marriage together, the true definition of high school sweethearts. In their years of marriage they had two wonderful boys together; Christian, 23 and Anthony, 20. Frank adored his wife and family. He was always supportive, laid back, loving, charismatic and was always the one they said, “rolled with the punches. Whether it was changing diapers when they were younger, taking care of them when they were sick or just having a good time, he was always there.

Playing the drums, lifting weight and working on cars were all things Frank loved but don’t let those fool you; Frank was a kid at heart. He loved cartoons, any kind mainly but his favorite was Sponge Bob. He also enjoyed movies whether it was a horror story, comedy, or super hero movie he was glued to the TV. He had a heart for everyone he knew and will be deeply missed but the memories of him will always be remembered.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Willett Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Willett; children, Christian and Anthony Willett; mother Alice Bowles; stepmother, JoAnne Willett; sisters, Cheryl Shifflett and Lisa Willett; stepsister, Jennifer Roper; brother, Chris Willett and stepbrother, Emile Rivera and many other friends and families who will cherish the life they spent with him.
