Frank Chisholm Jr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on December 8, 1946, at Shawnee City Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Frank was the son of Frank Buck Chisholm and Winona Mae Williams (Wells). Frank graduated from Star Spencer High School, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years after being drafted during the Vietnam War, demonstrating the dedication and strength that would define his life. He attended church and was a member of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Frank was also a long-term employee at East Central Electric Company, where he worked as a lineman for 18 years, retiring in 2000. His strong work ethic and commitment to his craft were well respected. A simple man with a kind heart, he found joy in life's quiet pleasures. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had an unwavering love for animals, especially his dogs, who often held an even bigger place in his heart than people.
Frank met the love of his life, Linda Asbury, and together they built a family filled with love, raising their four children: Bonnie Chisholm, Frank Euguene Chisholm, Christopher Clay Chisholm, and Crystal Dawn Chisholm. Their life together was a testament to devotion and partnership.
Frank is preceded in death by his father, Frank Chisholm Sr.; his mother, Winona Williams; his son, Christopher Clay Chisholm; his daughter, Crystal Dawn Chisholm; his grandson, Elijah Jordan Chisholm; his sister, Yvonne Autaubo; and his sister, Wilma Dean Moore.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Chisholm; his son, Frank Eugene Chisholm and wife Sherry; his daughter, Bonnie Chisholm and companion Joey; his sister, Delores Nestelle, and husband Tim; his brother, Thompson Williams; his 7 grandkids, 9 great-grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Chisholm, Justin Alexander, Matthew Autaubo, Marcus Birdtail, Mason McClellan, and Topley Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thompson Williams, Tim Nestelle, Wendell Autaubo, Frank Eugene Chisholm, Rodney Autaubo, Tim Autaubo, Jerry Sloma, and Shawn Medlock.
A graveside service honoring Frank's life will be held at Miller Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
