Frank Arthur Coker, 74, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2020 in Tulsa, OK after a long illness due to a degenerative disease. He was born in Prague, OK on March 27, 1946, the son of George and Maudie (Bryan) Coker. He spent his childhood being raised in Oklahoma. His ability to make everyone feel comfortable, secure and loved were his greatest strengths. Through his life he has done many things, he served in the U.S. Army, worked for the U.S. Secret Service and later in life he worked for Georgia Pacific Plant. Some of Frank's favorite things to do were play golf with his step-daughter Jennifer, watch football (OU was his favorite) and watching baseball.
Frank was happily married twice. His first wife has passed away in 2003. He was a stepfather to her 2 sons (Michael and Neal) and a step-grandfather to her grandchildren: Janet, Jj, Jennifer. In 2005, he went on a trip to the Ukraine with his friend Kalvin and met his second wife Nataliia. He married her in 2007 and became the stepfather to his wife’s daughter Natalia and a wonderful step-grandfather to her grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Eva and Ella.
Frank set an exemplary example as a husband, father and grandfather. He was spiritually strong and compassionate, and had a clever sense of humor. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends. We will miss him more than words can express.
Frank is survived by his wife, Nataliia; his step-children, Natalia Melnik and Michael Wyckoff; his step-grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Eva, Ella (Melnik), Jennifer Porter (Wyckoff), Janet Rodrigues (Wyckoff), Jj Leeann La Bella (Wyckoff).
He is predeceased by his parents, Maudie and George Coker; his first wife Rose Mary; and his step-son Neal Wyckoff.
Frank leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, grandfather, and father. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, and for the lessons learned and all the jokes we shared.
