Frances Jones

Frances Jones age 85 passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Glennwood Healthcare Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Frances was born November 12, 1926 in San Angelo, Texas to Hal Sprague and Alma (France) Sprague. She graduated from Balmorhea High School in Balmorhea, Texas with the class of 1943. She married John D. Jones on December 31, 1945. Frances worked as a bookkeeper and as a Director of Senior Citizens and also as a librarian. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Alma Sprague, her husband, John D. Jones (January 16, 1987), her son George Jones, her sister, Merle Payne and her brother, "Pete" Sprague. She is survived by her son, Don Jones and his wife, Robbie of Pecos, Texas, her granddaughter: Anne Yokum and her husband, Joe of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her grandson, Jason Jones and his wife, Cyndi of Burleson, Texas, her granddaughter, Sara Barrera and her husband, Alfredo of Weslaco, Texas, her sister, Jackie in Oregon, four step-grandsons and fifteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Balmorhea, Texas. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
