Floyd David Stidman, a resident of Eufaula, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at the age of 84. He was born July 3, 1929 to Charlie and Jewel (Pritcherd) Stidman in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Jewel Stidman; brothers, Jessie and Hershall Stidman and sister, Birdie Mae Beasley. Survivors include his wife, Diane Stidman; son, Jimmy D. Stidman; brother, Cecil Stidman; sisters, Opal Mount and Ethel Esteridge and one grandson, Joseph Stidman. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Patriot Guard Riders.
