Florence Maebelle Shaw

Florence Maebelle Shaw age 84 passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Ambassador Manor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Florence was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma on August 6, 1926 to W.E. Welch and Georgia (Mayes) Welch. Florence married Vernon Shaw on December 31, 1951. She worked as a Cashier for Skaggs grocery stores for many years until her retirement. Florence was preceded in death by her parents: W.E. Welch and Georgia Welch; her husband Vernon Shaw who passed November 18, 2010 and her two sisters. She is survived by her son: Michael G. Shaw and his wife, Cecilia of Tulsa; her sister: Dorothy Welch of California; two loving grandchildren; two great-grandchildren along with other family members and friends.
