Ferne Kay Whitley

Ferne Kay Whitley age 68 passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ferne was born March 28, 1940 in Ringling, Oklahoma to Clyde D. Barnes and Ruby (Holloway) Barnes. She graduated from Webster High School in 1958. She married Don L. Whitley who passed away March 9, 2002. Ferne was a retired truck driver. Some of her hobbies were sewing, cooking, spending time on the computer and she loved to travel. She most recently lived in Catoosa coming from Owasso, Oklahoma.
Ferne Whitley was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Ruby Barnes along with her husband: Don L. Whitley and her daughter: Terri Smith.
Ferne is survived by her daughters: Glenna K. Pointer and her husband, Dennis Pointer; Gloria L. Schweikert and her husband, Dale Schweikert; son in-law Keith Smith; five grandchildren: Amber Pointer, Jennifer Gagnon, Goldie Doss, Derek Schweikert, Alyssa Ruby Smith along with four great grandchildren.
