Fermin Saiz

Fermin "Jack" Saiz age 88 passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at his Bixby residence surrounded by loving family members. Jack was born June 18, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Salvador Saiz and Theresita (Barboa) Saiz. Jack married the love of his life, Modesta Mendoza on January 4, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. He served in the United States Navy. Jack worked in the construction industry as an electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Modesta 'Mary' who passed away June 29, 2012 and his son F. Jackie Saiz who passed on September 26, 2012. Jack is survived by his daughters: Mary Jane Sands and her husband, Ted, his daughter, Jo Ann Saiz Carrillo and her husband Salvador, his son, Terry Lee Saiz and wife Petra. Eight grandchildren: Lorraine Yoshioka, Denise D. Anderson, Trina L. Andry, Jason Saiz, Stephen Saiz, Mark A. Saiz, Salvador Saiz and Alina Saiz; his nine great grandchildren: Asia, Braxton, Hailee, Tatiana, Cole, Paige, Michael, Caitlyn, Isabella. A sister Tommy Saiz Martinez, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins as well as many long time friends, he was well liked. Private visitation for family members took place Tuesday.
