Felix Ambrose Ontiveros, 61, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by the warmth and love of his devoted family. Born on January 15, 1963, Felix was the ninth child of Juan H. and Marina E. Ontiveros. He grew up in the spirited city of Tulsa, where he blossomed into an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who left an indelible impact on all who knew him.
Felix's journey began at a young age, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit as he sold peanuts along the vibrant River Walk in San Antonio. This initial foray into the world of business led him to deliver newspapers, a job that instilled in him a strong work ethic. He eventually realized his dream by founding TRC, a restoration company that he developed from the ground up with sheer determination and brilliance. Felix's keen business acumen and unwavering dedication turned TRC (See Insert) into a remarkably successful venture, but his true passion lay in mentoring family members and friends, generously imparting his vast knowledge of what it takes to thrive in the business world.
Beyond his impressive achievements, Felix was renowned for his rich storytelling, embodying wisdom, integrity, kindness, and an unmatched generosity of spirit. His influence reached far and wide, profoundly shaping the lives of family, friends, and colleagues alike, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and encouragement.
Felix found his soulmate in Keli Ontiveros, and together they wove a beautiful tapestry of love and laughter. They nurtured their children with care and joy, creating a home filled with happy memories, and cherished their time spent with their beloved grandchildren. A true animal lover, Felix had a soft spot for the many dogs that graced his life, each one a part of his vibrant family.
An avid outdoorsman at heart, Felix reveled in the thrill of hunting whitetail and blacktail deer, wild boar, and bears, along with upland and waterfowl game. He hunted during bow or gun season, embracing every season with enthusiasm. He cherished the moments spent sharing this passion with his sons, grandsons, and friends. With a vision of creating lasting memories, Felix constructed the Caney River Ranch-a serene haven where his family could gather and revel in the breathtaking beauty of nature, transforming it into their own little slice of heaven on earth.
Beloved Felix, your memory will forever echo in our hearts. We will miss your quick wit, your remarkable ability to make us laugh, and your generous spirit that touched so many lives. You truly exemplified what it means to live "A Life Well Lived."
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)
