In Loving Memory of Felicia Sanchez
September 27, 1967 - June 12, 2023
With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss and celebrate the remarkable life of our beloved mother, Felicia Sanchez. She was a beacon of love, compassion, and unwavering faith, leaving an indelible mark on all those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Felicia was born to Flora and Jose Sanchez, embracing a childhood filled with cherished moments alongside her dear siblings, Yolanda, Roberto, and Raymond, in the warm embrace of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her early years laid the foundation for a life characterized by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering spirit.
Felicia's legacy lives on through her two adoring children, Matthew Apodaca and Alexis Robinson, and their respective spouses, Tracie and Joshua. She found immeasurable joy and pride in her five beautiful grandchildren, Itzy, Abraham, Isaiah, Lincoln, and Ronan, whose laughter and innocence brought endless delight to her days.
Throughout her journey, Felicia found solace in the arms of ministry, nurturing the spiritual lives of those she encountered in Oklahoma and Texas. She selflessly dedicated herself to serving others, embodying the teachings of her Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ. Felicia's life was a testament to the transformative power of faith and the importance of nurturing the bonds of friendship and family.
With an infectious enthusiasm and an open heart, Felicia approached each day with a zest for life that was unmatched. Her radiant smile illuminated every room she entered, and her genuine interest in others made everyone feel cherished and valued. To Felicia, there were no strangers-only potential friends waiting to be embraced.
She seized each precious moment, living life to its fullest with an abundance of joy and grace. Felicia's spirit shone brightly, reminding us all of the inherent beauty and goodness in the world. Her unwavering optimism and unyielding love were a source of strength and inspiration to those fortunate enough to know her.
As we bid farewell to our beloved mother, the void in our hearts feels insurmountable. Yet, amidst our sorrow, we find solace in the knowledge that Felicia has been reunited with her father in the realm of eternal peace. On June 12, 2023, she embarked on her final journey, joining her Heavenly Father in the paradise she had longed for.
Though we grieve the loss of our dear Felicia, we take comfort in the realization that she is watching over us from above. Her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the love she instilled within us. Let us honor her legacy by cherishing the bonds of family, embracing each day with fervor, and extending kindness to all.
In this time of profound sadness, let us also remember the words that brought solace to Felicia's heart: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." May we find solace in these words and draw strength from the enduring love of our Heavenly Father, just as Felicia did throughout her remarkable life.
Forever and always, we will carry your light within us, dear Felicia. Rest in eternal peace, knowing that your spirit lives on and your memory will forever be treasured.
