Evelyn Mae Phillips-Cuplean, age 91 passed from this life on January 14, 2006 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Evelyn was born on November 17, 1914 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Neamo Phillips and Mary Denney. Evelyn graduated from Jenks High School in 1932 and operated the first tag agency in Jenks. She married Paul Phillips April 15, 1939 in Sallisaw, OK; Paul preceded her in death in 1968. As a hobby Evelyn enjoyed traveling, fishing and will be remembered for her witty personality by her family and friends.
Evelyn Mae Phillips-Cuplean was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband; two brothers; and one sister.
Mrs. Cuplean is survived by one sister: Maxine Phillips of Jenks, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Augusta Phillips of Glenpool, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday January 16, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 17, 2006 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Troy Hayes officiating.
