Evedna Sprouse

Viewing and visitation will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2019 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Okmulgee Cemetery.

Evedna Sprouse, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away with family by her side on March 15, 2019, at the age of 92.

Evedna was born on October 11, 1926 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents, Ralph and Winifred McVay.

She met the love of her life, Wayne Sprouse and they were married for over 50 years. Together they had four children; Rex, Mike, Patricia, and Sally.

Evedna worked many different jobs over the course of her adult life. She worked at Okmulgee Memorial in the vital records department. She also worked at the Okmulgee Court House and Okmulgee Land & Title. She ended her working career at Oklahoma State Institute of Technology where she retired there as a secretary.

She is preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Winifred McVay and husband, Wayne Sprouse.

Those left to cherish her memory include with their family, Rex Sprouse and wife Yong, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Mike Sprouse and wife Karen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patricia Childs and husband David of Amber, Oklahoma, Sally Sprouse of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and god-daughter, Connie Snelson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. As well as her thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
