Eva Mae Cutright went home to meet her Jesus on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the age of 79, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. Eva Mae was born on March 12, 1940, in Pryor, OK, to Eva Jane and Denver Ince. Pryor is where she grew up, and graduated from Pryor High School in 1958.
Who was this wonderful lady, living in Dewey, raising her two daughters? She worked for Dewey Public Schools, and loved working, teaching, and helping High School girls at her church. She later went to work for TRW Reda Pump in Bartlesville, where she met, and fell in love with John Cutright. They were married on April 22, 1977. They then moved to Jenks, OK, where Eva Mae worked as an Admin Assistant for the superintendent at Jenks High School. In 1981 John's job took them to Tyler, TX, where they would spend the next 19 years. Eva Mae worked there for the Bank of America's President as her Administrative Assistant. After John's retirement, they moved back to Tulsa to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Eva Mae finished out her career at Community Action Project also as and administrative assistant.
Eva Mae and John were very involved in their church. She loved kids and served as a Children's Sunday School teacher and leader, as well as leading and teaching women's groups and Bible studies. She also had a special ministry where she dressed up and portrayed the story of Martha in the first person, as if she were right there with Mary, Jesus, and the disciples.
Eva Mae was very talented when it came to arts, crafts, and painting; her two sisters and her would get together as often as they could to paint and craft.
Eva Mae was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a devoted follower of Christ. Eva Mae is preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; a daughter, Jeanna Stevens; grandson, Levi Cutright; son-in-law, Danny Cartwright; brothers-in-law, Don Cutright and Gary Cutright.
