Eusebia Heredia Morales, 94, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 at 11:22 a.m. She was born Jan. 11, 1924 to Luz and Jose Gonzalez Heredia in El Paso, Texas.
She was the eldest of seven children. Brothers Ezequiel and Esteban Heredia are her surviving siblings.
Eusebia graduated from Bowie High School in El Paso.
She married Florentino Bejarano Morales on Oct. 26, 1947. They were known by close friends and family as Tino and Cheva and their marriage endured until his death on Aug. 21 2015.
Eusebia is survived by daughters, Sylvia Morales and husband, Kent Slabotsky; Selma Harwell and husband, Jake Harwell; Sonia Lach and husband Dave Lach; son, Sam Morales; granddaughters, Carin Schoppmeyer and husband, Martin Schoppmeyer Jr.; Alena Harwell, grandsons, Arian Harwell; Kasim Siftar and wife, Amanda Siftar; Simeon Siftar and wife, Xue “Snow” Siftar, Daniel Slabotsky; Andrew Morales and Joshua Morales and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Landon, Adriana and Callie Siftar.
Eusebia was a consummate homemaker — devoted wife and mother, excellent cook, designing seamstress and family financier. She mastered her gifted talents and often personally created the home environment she wanted with her own hands.
She enjoyed Bowling club and Bunco club with her friends.
Her legacy of ever surprising quick wit was dispersed throughout the family to keep us laughing in her honor and to keep her ever present in our lives.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2018 with a Rosary at 4:00pm at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. Funeral Mass will be 2:00pm Monday at the Church of St. Mary Chapel.
