A funeral service to celebrate the life of Lorene Hurt will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Schaudt's Okmulgee Chapel. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Schaudt's Okmulgee Chapel. Interment will be at Keota Cemetery,

Lorene Hurt, passed away on April 25, 2019, at the age of 94. Lorene was born on August 3, 1924 in Stigler, Oklahoma to her parents, William and Dovie Mae Ritch.

She met the love of her life, Nathan Hurt at the Honor Heights Park in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and they were married for 50 years.

She is preceded in death by husband, Nathan Hurt, parents, William Jasper and Dovie Mae Ritch, brothers, Albert and Earl and sisters, Wilma, Iris, Ruby, and Dixie.

Lorene leaves many loving memories of son, Dale Hurt and wife Jaye of Vacaville, California. Grand daughters, Catherine Hurt and Tricia Bullers and grandsons, Eric Casper and Craig Hurt and wife Mary. Great grand children include, Genevieve, Thomas, Savannah, Nathaniel, and Madeline.
