Esther Sue Mills

Esther "Sue" (Cox) Mills age 75 ascended to her Heavenly home on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Sue was born May 30, 1937 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Jesse Weaver Cox and Nannie Eva (Cargile) Cox. She graduated from Central High School in Muskogee with the Class of 1954. Sue married Bobby Gene Mills on July 13, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She enjoyed going to church at First Baptist Church - Jenks; spending time with her grandchildren and being a member of Route 66 RV Club. She worked for Kaiser Francis Oil Company as a Lease Titleist for twenty years before retiring. Sue was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Nannie Cox, her brother Robert Cox, sisters Alma McGough and Kathleen Ealey. She is survived by her husband, Bob Mills of Jenks, her two daughters and their husbands, Donna Deffenbaugh (Paul) and Christine Zecca (Joe). Sue is also survived by her loving grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, Drew Deffenbaugh and Kasey and Emily Zecca, her sisters Doris Posvic, Ann McKinzie, Jean Devine, her brother Gary Cox along with numerous nieces, nephews other family members, friends and acquaintances. The family would like to thank Dr. John Mowry, Dr. Jesus Medina and Dr. John Lohrey and her hospice nurses, Lori, Janie and Donna. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Francis Hospice and First Baptist Church - Jenks. Services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012 at First Baptist Church - Jenks. Reverend Rick Frie will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
