Emily Sue Zanne Morgan
Emily “Blessed-n-Beautiful" Sue Zanne Morgan was taken from this world on August 26, 2016. She entered into this life on January 1, 1993, in Talihina, OK. She came in fighting, and she left fighting. She took on everything in this life with determination to win, no matter, what was in her way. She became a mom at the age of 16 and everything she did from that point on, was to insure that her son grew up strong, successful and respectful. She never occupied a space without being the strongest energy in the room.
She leaves behind her 6 year old son Payden Alexander Henson (son-son); her mother and best friend, Kimberly Merryman; her sister and hero, Chelcey Akins and husband Courtney; her Nana Sue Zanne Grier who she felt she was the most like in this family; grandpa, Jerry, great-aunt, Mary Merryman- Campbell, great-uncle, Harlis Merryman, niece, Ti’Lee Akins; uncles, Scott Anderson, Vincent Merryman; aunts Leslie Brosnan, Shelli Walters, all on her maternal side. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandpa Harold Merryman.
On her paternal side she leaves behind her daddy; Charlie Morgan, who anyone that knows him, knows that he called her, Daddy’s girl, not Emily, and she loved that more than anything. She also leaves behind her; baby brother, Lukas Morgan, and she had big plans for them for the future; his mother Barbara Pride, the woman she knew saved her daddy, and her daughters Raéven and Maliyah. She leaves behind her paternal aunts, Marie Clark, Hope Primeaux and her husband Jessie, Theresa Chicago, Sara James, Kathy Monday and her husband Jack, Tina Morgan, who she had a special love for; uncles, William Morgan, Bob Morgan, George Morgan, Clyde James, Richard Morgan and his wife Kathleen. She was preceded in death by her; paternal granny, Geneva Morgan, aunts, Odessa Johnson, Rainella Sue Boren and her husband Morris "Gray."
Emily has touched the lives of countless friends throughout her life, including the love of her life, Dre Hall. She was fiercely loyal and true to herself and others. She will leave a huge void on this earth, but she is shining bright on the other side. Emily would want her memory kept alive by all, for her son and her family. Daddy and momma love you baby girl.
