Emilie Burr

Emilie Burr died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at St. Simeon's Episcopal Home in Tulsa, OK. She was born January 1, 1918 in Queens, New York to Joseph and Margaret Lippert . Emilie worked for many years as a lab director in the healthcare research industry. She is survived by her two daughter’s Marianne Holmes of Broken Arrow, OK, and Martha Zackman of Massapaqua, NY, and two sons Joel Burr, of North Carolina, and Bruce Burr of Rochester, NY. Emilie has three granddaughters: Katharine Colvin of Broken Arrow, OK, Joanne Bentley of Plainfield, WI, and Suzanne Remedies of Florida, and two grandson’s David Burr of North Carolina and Mark Burr of North Carolina, as well as 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grand children. Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service Chapel in Tulsa with Father Bill Holly officiating.
