Elver Leroy Doerflinger

Elver "Lee" Leroy Doerflinger of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 80. He was born on June 16, 1942, in El Dorado, Kansas, to Robert and Thelma (Chastain) Doerflinger. Lee proudly served his country in the United States Military for 22 years, retiring as a Master SGT. where he dedicated himself to his duty, as a Diesel mechanic and instructor. He did 3 tours of Vietnam and was seriously injured on his 3rd tour. It was a miracle he survive, so someday he could marry Anneta. He was a family man, a man of honor, integrity, and kindness who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He was deeply loved by his family, friends, and all those who knew him. His kindness, humor, and wisdom will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Thelma Doerflinger and two brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Anneta of the home, son Mike Doerflinger, daughters Teresa Reinolds & husband Roger, Sheila Wilson, Laura Guinn & husband James, Jessica Doerflinger as well as three grandsons, three grandaughters, and one great-grandchild.

A Public Viewing & Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 09, 2023, at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 1329 E. 151st St. S. Glenpool, OK 74033. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 PM March 9, 2023, at the Beggs Cemetery, with Pastor Jonathan Hanshaw officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service.
