Elsie Mcclure

Elsie Jennette McClure, a resident of Atoka and a former resident of Preston, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the age 67. She was born May 18, 1944 to Richard Bryan and Wyoma (Williams) Luney in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Wyoma Luney and her husband, Jerry Lee McClure. Survivors include her daughter, Elesia Church of Canute, OK; two brothers, Wayne Coleman of Atoka and Dale Luney of Preston; one grandchild, Mary Caitlin Church of Canute, OK. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Pastory Gary Powell officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
