Elliott (Porky) Leitka, 74, of Okmulgee, OK, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Tulsa.
Elliott was born in Talihina, OK on February 2, 1943, a son of the late Cora Helen (Buck) and Rev. Elliott Leitka, Sr. He was the husband of Jane (Patterson) Leitka.
Porky loved crossword puzzles and word puzzles. He was a handyman; a regular "Mr. Fix It". He enjoyed caring for his lawn and garden. He also loved to cook and bake; he was well known for his Blackberry Cobbler, and loved Massey's BBQ. He loved his cats, especially Tiger and Missy Grey.
He worked as an Electronics Technician for Hughes Aircraft in California. He was also a member of a Moose lodge while living in CA.
Porky was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Kal-El Miller; siblings, Betty Jo, Sarah, Ruthie, Wanda, and Lila Sue.
Elliott is survived by his loving wife Jane; a daughter, Robin Miller; four sons, Mark Miller, Andrew Miller, Christopher Leitka, Joseph Leitka; sister, Loretta Denny and husband Milton; 10 grandchildren, half-siblings, Eugene Leitka and Betty Passah; as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
Viewing and Visitation will be 4pm-7pm Sunday November 19, 2017 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday November 20, 2017 at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church, with Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating. Burial will follow at the Buck Family Cemetery. His nephews will be serving as casket bearers.
