Elizabeth Jo (Bruner) DeBolt age 72 passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jo was born February 8, 1937 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Joseph Bruner and Neotus Brown. She graduated with the Class of 1955 from Webster High School. Jo married the love of her life, William Earl DeBolt on February 26, 1955 in Skiatook. Jo worked as a bookkeeper for Trust Company of Oklahoma. In her younger years, Jo attended Trinity Baptist Church in Tulsa. Six years ago Jo moved to Bixby, Oklahoma and resided at the Autumn Park Retirement Community. Jo was active at her new residence. She was past president of their board; she called Bingo and continued to serve on their resident board. Jo enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics and spending time with her family.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Neotus Bruner; her husband: William Earl DeBolt (1-26-1996); her daughter: Alicia Rhen Busch and brother: John Edward Bruner.
She is survived by her daughter: Gwen Bayhylle and her husband, Maurice (Moe); her son: William DeBolt; her sister: Martha Ward; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; friends and acquaintances.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4th at the Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Frank Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
