Elizabeth Ann Minnis

Elizabeth Ann Minnis passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the age of 91. Elizabeth was born on February 23, 1929, in Evansville, Indiana to Hugo and Anna Gehlhausen. She was married to Roy Minnis. They have one son Michael Minnis.

Elizabeth volunteered at the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. She is a breast cancer survivor and was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed taking the boat out in the ocean during the time she lived in Miami, Florida. Elizabeth also enjoyed baking, arts and crafts as well as collecting glassware and Beanie Babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hugo and Anna Gehlhausen and her husband Roy Minnis.

Those left to cherish her memory include son, Michael Minnis of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth's favorite charity was Oklahoma Lucky Dawg Rescue. Donations can be sent to Town and Country Animal Hospital in Henryetta, Oklahoma to attention “Oklahoma Lucky Dawg Rescue”. By doing so will aid in funding for the care and wellbeing of the rescue dogs cared for by Oklahoma Lucky Dawg Rescue.
