Elinor (Sullivan) Lindemann age 84 passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elinor was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on July 23, 1926. She was the daughter of Charles S. Sullivan and Esther (Frame) Sullivan. She worked as a reading specialist for San Jose California Public Schools; she taught fourth grade and home economics. She was an advocate for unionizing the school teachers in San Jose, California. In her spare time, Elinor enjoyed reading, gardening and she was an excellent cook. Elinor was preceded in death by her parents: Charles S. and Ester Sullivan; and her brother: Charles F. Sullivan. She is survived by her sister: Elizabeth (Liz) Ruth (Sullivan) Croy of Tulsa; her nephew: District Judge, James B. Croy of Oklahoma City; her grand nephew: Zachery A. Croy and his son (her great-grand nephew) Elliott Croy. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
