Eleanor Angeline Greener

Eleanor Angeline (Simone) Greener, 94, died on Monday, July 17, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with family by her side. She was born on August 13, 1922 in Buffalo, New York to Mary (Rubilotta) and John Simone. She met and married the love of her life, Albert Greener, in New York State. The two spent 85 years upstate before moving to Oklahoma in 2006. Eleanor was a selfless woman, and truly enjoyed volunteering at Saint Francis South Hospital. She was a wonderful cook, the best there is and an exceptional cleaner. She loved the holidays with family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Albert Greener; parents, Mary (Rubilotta) and John Simone; brother, Robert Simone.

Survivors include children, Linda Levy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and William Greener of Ithaca, New York; grandson, Scott Levy and wife, Robbie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and sister, Olga Wopperer of Buffalo, New York; she will be missed by all.

Memorial Service will be held 10 AM on Thursday, July 20th at Saint Benedict's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Fr. Joe Townsend officiating with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery Tulsa, OK. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Eleanor Greener to Saint Francis Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.
