Elaine Virginia London of Tulsa, OK, passed away the early morning of Wednesday, December 27th, 2017, with her family at her side. She was 93.

Elaine was born on March 27, 1924 in Porum, OK, the daughter of the late Clara (Seney) and Oscar Eli Hembree. She grew up in Porum during the depression; and she helped raise her nine siblings, after her mother passed away when Elaine was 12.

After graduating high school, Elaine moved to Tulsa at the age of 19, to start her career. She became a hair dresser and attended business school. She worked many years as an accounting clerk for Amerada Hess, Shell Oil and then retiring from Safeway. When she was not working, she enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Eastwood Baptist Church of Tulsa; she loved working in the nurseries with the babies.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Miller of Tulsa, and Karen Molina and husband, Mike, of Tulsa; grandchildren, Greg Miller and Lindsey Silva; great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Silva and Celes Silva; siblings, Helen Sizemore, Oscar Hembree, Jr. and Robert Hembree; and many other family and friends.
