Edward Thomas (Tom Tom) Boak age 50 slipped away in his sleep at his home on the family farm just outside of Miami, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 14, 2014.
Tom was born November 1, 1963 in Escondido, California to Della June (Bartlett) Boak and Tom Boak. He lived in Reno, Nevada before moving to Missouri. In 2013 he and his wife moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family.
Tom and his wife worked together for Crossmark Marketing as event specialists. His family and friends fondly remember him dancing at Wal-Mart as a big blue Scrubbing Bubbles and talking strangers into trying new products. He was a character full of dry humor and wit. Tom was a talker, keeping himself current on endless trivia.
He loved fishing at Lilley's Landing in Branson, Missouri. He enjoyed photography, humming birds, traveling, movies and his sweet little "Puppers" - Miss Gracie. He adored his wife, Neesie and teased her into oblivion on a daily basis.
As Tom reeled in his final cast, he was greeted by his precocious mother, Della Boak, his sister, Sandra Rogers and his sister in-law, Michelle "Miki" Crum.
Loved ones still laughing at his life time of funny antics and missing him terribly include his wife, Glenda Denise (Neesie) Breaune Boak of the home, his son, Richard Anthony and his wife, Cindy Boak and two grandsons, Kodi and Johnathan of Ava, Missouri, his half brother, Leroy Moad of Carson City, Nevada, his mother in-law, Roberta Breaune, his sister in-law Amanda and her husband, Weldon May, his nephew David and niece, Miranda May all who live on the family farm, his niece, Tracy Olson of Texas and her children, Kristen, Terra, Talon, Melinda and Bella also miss him fondly along with countless friends including his closest friends, Joseph (Joe Joe) Martin-Kennedy and spouse, Ryan of Hammond, Kansas.
Tom's life will be celebrated and wild stories shared at a burgers, beer and B-B-Q in Joplin, Missouri on Saturday, May 24th at 4:20 p.m. until everyone goes home. Please follow Facebook for location and announcements.
