Edward F Ray

Edward Frank Ray age 85 passed from this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Edward was born April 12, 1928 in Harveyville, Kansas to Frank Marion Ray and Millie Louise Ray. Edward served his country in both the Navy and the Marines during the Korean Conflict. Most of Edward's working career was spent in the construction industry as a framing contractor, home builder and the owner of R & R Concrete Company. He was a member of the Jenks Bethel Baptist Church in Jenks, Oklahoma.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his six brothers and his five sisters.

He is survived by his son, Edward Ray, Jr. of Collinsville, his son, Paul Ray of Tulsa, his son, Gerald Ray of Glenpool, his son, Charles Ray and his wife, Liz of Tulsa, his step-sons: Raymond Mathews, Michael Mathews and Calvin Mathews of Tulsa, his step-daughter, Debbie Tolbert and her husband, Quention of Glenpool, his step-daughter Cindy Morgan and her husband, Scott of Claremore, nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, his former wife, Margaret Ray-Pierson, who lovingly took care of him during his last days, along with other family members, friends and acquaintances.
