Edward Charles Mccombs

Edward "Ed" Charles McCombs, 78, passed from this life on July 12, 2021. Ed was one of six sons, born to George & Helen McCombs on March 4, 1943, in Detroit, MI. Ed was married to his loving wife Krystyna (Pawlow) for 58 years. Edward served in the US Army from 1961-1969. He and Krystyna moved with their daughters to Tulsa in 1977 where he went to work for Armin Plastics. He retired from Armin Plastics and purchased AJAX Liquor store in Tulsa. In his spare time Ed loved to golf and travel.

Edward is survived by his wife Krystyna and his three daughters, Katherine (Kurtis) Bowman of Austin, TX; Krystyn (Troy) Schultz of Bixby, and Lynette McCombs-Green of Tulsa; his brothers Doug, Hugh, Phil & Kent. Ed was also lovingly known as "Grumpa" to his six grandchildren Blaine (Jessica), Brynn, Logan, Carson, Brady and Krystyna.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, George & Helen and one brother Gerry.

Memorial Mass will be 1:00 pm, Saturday July, 24, 2021 at Church of St. Mary, 1347 E. 49th Pl., Tulsa.

The family would like to thank Saint Francis Hospice (special thanks to Brant), Clarehouse, as well as family & friends for all of their care & support.
