Edward Carl Grant Jr.

Edward Carl Grant Jr., born in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 17, 1924 to late Edward Carl Grant Sr. and Olga Violet Grant, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

Ed served during World War II with the Pacific Fleet. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1949 (Go Big Red). Ed married his wife Len in 1953 and took a job with Safeway Inc. and retired after 39 years. He was the branch manager of the poultry division in Tulsa after starting in Little Rock, Arkansas, transferring to Denver, Colorado where he and Len adopted their two children, Jim and Susan, and then moving to Tulsa in 1959.

Ed is preceded in passing by his parents, Edward Carl Grant Sr., and Olga Violet Grant, his brother Donald Grant, uncle Ted Sorenson, and wife of 52 years Lenore Idell Grant.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Susan Kay Grant of Bournemouth, England, son James Edward Grant of Tulsa, granddaughter Christine Victoria Grant of Wagonger, grandson Tyler Jay and Elaina Grant of Glenpool, and his great-granddaughter Karma McKenzie Baker of Broken Arrow.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5 to 8pm at Schaudt Funeral Service Tulsa, in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Funeral services for Ed Grant will be Friday, June 17, 2022 staring at 11 at Schaudt Funeral Service Tulsa, in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Committal will follow at Memorial Park
